Chirag enjoys working on scalable algorithms for data intensive computational problems in genomics. He completed his bachelor's degree in computer science from the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi and joined the Georgia Tech PhD program in fall 2014, where he was advised by Srinivas Aluru. He finished his PhD in 2019 and joined the Genome Informatics Section as a postdoctoral fellow.
