Chirag enjoys working on scalable algorithms for data intensive computational problems in genomics. He completed his bachelor's degree in computer science from the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi and joined the Georgia Tech PhD program in fall 2014, where he is advised by Srinivas Aluru. He also holds a volunteer research position with the Genome Informatics Section.
