Chirag Jain, PhD

Postdoctoral Fellow (alum)

Chirag develops scalable algorithms and software for data intensive computational problems in genomics. He completed his bachelor's degree in computer science from the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi and joined the Georgia Tech PhD program in fall 2014. After finishing his PhD in 2019, he joined the Genome Informatics Section as a postdoctoral fellow. He is now an assistant professor and Pratiksha Trust Young Investigator in the Department of Computational and Data Sciences at the Indian Institute of Science.
